Journey to the Center of the Mind

I’ve always loved puzzles – word puzzles, jigsaw puzzles, even mysteries where you put the pieces together to solve the crime.  In my quest for spiritual enlightenment and healing of body, mind and spirit, I discovered life is just one HUGE puzzle and the journey through life is a treasure hunt for the pieces that will fit together and make sense of why you are here and what your purpose is.

This site is dedicated to some of the discoveries I’ve made.  You might say it encompasses vibrational healing, magick and the Law of Attraction.  That really is an oversimplification of it, but will due for now.

As the weeks and months have unfolded here, I have shared, and hope to continue to share, some insights and information that I’ve learned and use.  I’ve revealed pieces I have discovered and how they have fit together for me, presenting them in the form of articles.  There’s more to come.

And who am I?  After 64 years in this incarnation, that might be a very long story. To most I am known as Samantha Herron.   To some I am known as Lady Maya.  Suffice it to say, besides 35+ years of astrology, I have been following and teaching the spiritual path of Wicca for almost 38 years, I am a licensed minister with the state of Ohio and a spiritual counselor.  I am also a tuning fork therapist and a practitioner of energy medicine.  I was the editor of a Pagan publication of the 1980s entitled Magickal Unicorn Messenger.  I also help originate an annual event called “Goddess Gathering” from 1982 – 2002 and coordinated that event for most of those years.  Currently, I live in SE Ohio in a small town inside Wayne National Forest where I’m getting ready to open a place of healing for those who seek to heal and empower themselves.

As I celebrate the first anniversary of this site, I wanted to share with you a few pictures of the progress of that healing room:

As you enter the room this mural greets you from the opposite wall. The mural is my interpretation of the card “Ixchel: Medicine Woman”  from Doreen Virtue’s Goddess Guidance Oracle Cards.  This is just one of the wonderful cards from her deck.

When we moved into our large Victorian house, we discovered that each room had a hand-stenciled border in it.  Before we did any painting, I hand copied a section of each one.  I’m pleased to say that this is the first border to be put back into place.  It’s so appropriate!  Lotus/water lily – a symbol of Kwan Yin.
